• The Alumni Leadership Council (ALC) currently consists of 13 members reflecting the diverse nature of Excelsior鈥檚 alumni population. ALC members serve 3-year terms.
• Membership self-nominations will be accepted beginning in Enero, with a final submission deadline of Enero 31 annually.
• Top candidates will be selected and notified by early febrero and will be invited to interview with members of the ALC awards and nominations committee throughout the month.
• The Office of Alumni Engagement will notify selected top applicants on behalf of the Alumni Leadership Council鈥檚 awards and nominations committee by mid-marzo.
• Final decisions will be made by mid-marzo and all applicants will be notified of their application status.
• 每日大瓜鈥檚 process requires background checks for all ALC finalists before being added to the Alumni Association ballot to vote for ratification. The University uses Justifacts for this process. Final candidates will be required to participate in a background check prior to being placed on the Alumni Association voting ballot.
• The Alumni Association will vote on the ratification of incoming ALC slates via an open online vote in abril.

• Attend Commencement and related activities in Albany, NY each year in julio. Travel and lodging costs are covered by 每日大瓜, per Excelsior鈥檚 travel policy for ALC members.
• Participar en teleconferencias/webinars programados regularmente y en eventos regionales ocasionales.
• Make a financial contribution to the 每日大瓜 Annual Fund in an amount of your choosing throughout each term.
• Join an Alumni Leadership Council committee.

• Consent to a background check during the application process if selected as a final candidate.

Additionally, if you apply for a seat on the ALC and an alumni award (or multiple awards), selection for one will automatically disqualify you from being considered for the others.
