Premio en memoria de Catherine Craig-Erhardt
El premio conmemora a Catherine Craig-Erhardt, que se uni贸 a la Universidad Excelsior en 1980 y que sirvi贸 como enlace de Excelsior con los servicios militares desde 1984 hasta su prematura muerte en 1986. El premio reconoce y conmemora su compromiso de ayudar a los miembros del servicio militar a alcanzar sus objetivos educativos.
Descripci贸n del premio
El galardonado recibir谩 un premio que incluye un regalo monetario y ser谩 reconocido en la ceremonia de graduaci贸n.
Elegibilidad
- Applicants must be members of the current year鈥檚 每日大瓜 graduating class.
- Active-duty service members, National Guard members, or Reservists are eligible.
- Los veteranos que estuvieron en servicio activo durante la mayor parte del per铆odo de inscripci贸n en la Universidad Excelsior son elegibles.
Criterios de selecci贸n
- Service to others including voluntary or paid service to others beyond the normal expectations of the applicant鈥檚 job. This service may be demonstrated in the military, civilian, or community setting.
- Commitment to education including the applicant鈥檚 commitment to his or her own education, persistence in the face of barriers to education, and the applicant鈥檚 commitment to the education of others.
- Academic achievement within the context of 每日大瓜 Degrees, awards or scholarships received as well as evidence of further study such as admission to graduate school or earning a higher degree.
- Professional and personal achievement including any accolades for professional advancement within the military as well as any evidence of exemplary promotion. Community service related awards or work will also be considered.
Plazo
The application window for 2027 will open on 15 marzo 2027 and all recommendations must be received by 16 abril 2027.
Recommendation Process
Service members may be recommended by a military ESO, a commanding officer, a military peer, or an 每日大瓜 staff member and must include:
- Nombre, rango y rama militar
- Direcci贸n y n煤meros de tel茅fono
- Fecha y tipo de t铆tulo de la Universidad Excelsior obtenido o por obtener
- Ocupaci贸n militar
- Duraci贸n del servicio militar
- Actividades o logros relacionados con cada uno de los criterios de selecci贸n
- Statement on how the earned 每日大瓜 degree will help or has helped the applicant
- Reason for recommendation
